This size guide are based on Asian female body type at heigh 165cm and gown construction with a corset lace-up system. The gown fitting can be adjustable to your exact measurement without hassle of costly alteration.

K Gown has three different wedding gown rental packages. Please refer to semi-bespoke wedding gown rental package for renting any ready-to-wear wedding gown with alteration. 

It is worth to note that brides can also rent a brand new custom wedding gown from K Gown for the same price as renting a RTW gown with alteration. 

Yes. You can rent a make-to-measurement custom wedding gown or evening gown with our semi-bespoke or bespoke tailoring package.

Bespoke Tailoring involves extensive research and trials where we re-create your bridal inspiration from any online resources into real life masterpiece. K Gown will recommend necessary modifications to suit your personality and measurement. We will study your request thoroughly to advise the feasibility. Upon finalized the design, I will create a brand new pattern just for you and source out the lace that match your vision the most.

Semi-bespoke service is to make one of the ready stock gown to your measurement because the ready stock piece is either too small or too big for you. We will use the existing pattern to adjust to your size and height. You are able to experience a brand new gown and flexible to extend your rental period with us without extension fee. To further personalize your gown, you can also choose any lace that you love from our newest bridal lace collection. You are freely to mix-n-match different elements to make your dream gown. 

Our bridal tailoring service are less than 1500 SGD to rent and 2000 SGD to buy. It is priced at a very affordable pricing compared to international designer wedding gown because we have the advantage of fabric sourcing and in-house skilled seamstress to ensure your best quality and cutting.

Weekend is preferred for first fitting appointment. Weekdays are reserved for other commitment as well as confirmed clients. However, if you really cannot make it on weekend, I can discuss on case-by-case basis or schedule on the nearest public holiday. Meanwhile, do feel free to browse my on-line catalogue

For Suit, Gown or Veil Try-on: Private Fitting is 20 SGD/60-min session. The fee will be credited from your order if you confirm within 7 days from the fitting date.

For Fit Evaluation and Alteration Consultation: Consultation fee is 30 SGD/45-min slot. The fee will be credited from your alteration fee if you confirm within 7 days from the consultation date.

My gown booking is on first-come-first serve basis. It is for both rental and purchase order. Given the nature of wedding gown, I suggest 3 to 6 months before your required date is reasonable. This provides enough time for any alterations or tailoring if needed. However, your exploration phase can be earlier, right after you have nailed down your venue and a tentative event day schedule. The plan helps you to decide how many outfits you will need and whether you have enough time for changing. The event layout help you not to overdress. You would not want a luxe ball gown with 1-meter-long train for the venue with narrow aisle or walk-way. Or you would prefer a sparkle gown to make full use of the well-lit lighting set-up in ball room than a plain satin gown.

It varies on the needed procedure. Some good gown just needs a strap adjustment that we can expedite within 2 hours while the “naughty” disaster requires re-design and re-construction that can take up to 3 -4 months. Don’t forget to factor in your availability for progressive fitting appointments as well. If you are generally busier, the duration takes longer. Don’t forget to take seasonality factor as well. October to Febuary are hot months for wedding; I have pre-booked order. Hence, I will advise more realistic timeline upon your request.

Re-create (a.k.a Made-to-measurement) / Bespoke takes around 6 to 9 months normally. Express service can shorten to 1 month for limited designs. Express fee applies.

I have very limited fully-lined wedding gown. It is less popular and required more “luck” to fit like a glove in the first fitting. However, I accept tailoring order for such design instead. You can try my existing sample gown to better understand my quality and select the fabric that you like.

There are many ways to construct a wedding gown. My gowns are constructed with a fitted contour bodice and various skirt (Sheath, Mermaid, A-line, Ball gown, etc.). There are average about 3-5 layers depending on design: a soft tulle outer layer – a sparkles fabric that help you glows – a shell fabric of satin – a lining fabric. Once the base shell gown is complete, I will design lace motif and hand sew them. This is where brides can express her personality. Some love dainty florals, some love bold and luxurious royal style. Some just want it plain and simple. Yet this style is most demanding as we can be slack in both material and seamline.

I am always committed to offer affordable bridal services for both rental and purchase wedding gown. K Gown operates in home-based model where I want to deliver the most value to money for every Singapore bride. To achieve affordable rate, I keep the operating expense low without retail space rent and cost-effective marketing. I don’t have paid-model shoot but only collaboration. My portfolio is built on real couple’s official photos (I am thankful for all brides that have generously share their beautiful moments with me and I hope you will also if you select my gown or veil). However, there is inevitable cost such as fabric, sewing tools, machinery and especially manpower to make new gown and maintain pristine condition for your enjoyable bridal fitting experience.

All these wedding gowns are in pristine condition and in-style. I offer to sell them to create space for my new design at lower rate compared to a brand new made-to-measurement/ bespoke gown. Hence, my collection is always new in both style and condition. It is a win-win solution. I have my space back and you have a beautiful gown to keep (and perhaps to use for both pre-wedding and actual day ceremonies). It also helps to save your hassle of pick-up and return the gown.

I will pack the gown in a convertible gown bag that is super easy for transportation. It is like carrying a suitcase on the train or bus. Gown with tulle overskirt is generally steady and you just need to open and hang it straight at home, waiting for the golden day. Satin gown requires more hard work. I will press the gown beforehand for you and you will need to steam it a bit before the day to iron out a few winkles due to transportation. For rental, you do not need to clean the gown. Just pack it (with any other accessories such as veil and petticoat) and return to me. For purchase, you can send for dry cleaning or give it a hand-wash at home. I do that all by myself. If you would like me to hand-wash and press it for you, please feel free to contact me for quotation.

I will press and hang the veil for your collection date. Upon receive, please make sure that it is not pressed or squashed by heavy material. Just hang again at home and ready to use for next day. For rental, just fold and return. Please don’t squeeze, squash it as it make permanent winkle on veil. For purchase, you can also hand wash, fold and keep afterward.

I am sorry that I am unable to quote for alteration without knowing the exact scope of work that I will need to carry out. I can send you a price guide instead as it varies so much depending on the quality of the gown you are going to buy and how does it fit to your body. Wedding gown requires to be fitted with minimal ease while its based material such as satin are non-stretchable. It makes more challenging to nicely fit.
